Van Build

She looked a lot like this but with fewer graphics
and double ladder racks up top.

She’s mine………

When Verizon updated their fleet she went to auction and was purchased along with others by someone in New York and I first met her at an online dating site called Ebay.

I took a Greyhound to New York and it was love at first sight. I just new she had to come home with me. No really, I already bought her lol.

Original equipment: Rooftop AC, 2 heaters, Onan 6500 Generator, 240v air compressor, MaxxAir fan, 120v 240v and 12v wiring, lighting,  carbon monoxide detector, exterior electric(120 and 240), 2 rooftop 12v power sources(two emergency flashing lights).

So much was already done converting her would be a breeze.

Or so I thought.

It turns out that with everything built into the van, it was already a hugely complex system.  If I had left it alone it would have been almost ready to go but the whole plan was to make her mine…….and that meant changing everything.

I will be posting progress and relevant updates to the blog along with links to Youtube videos periodically.
